Aaron Wilt Early Review

Aaron Wilt (aka Wilt on Tilt) posted the following in the 2p2 thread on the book (http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showpost.php?p=18527614&postcount=239):

----------------------------------------

As a lead coach for a competing video training site (who tried to get LFTV to join our site as well) I can say that Brian [Townsend]'s assessment of LFTV's book is spot on with my experience with the book.

I'm planning to write a more in depth review at some point, but I can say that the depth of this book is like none other out there...I agree with BT as well that the first few chapters could be a bit tough to digest unless you are used to either thinking mathematically or you are used to playing another form of poker at a high level. I consider myself in both categories and I had to spend a lot of time reading/re-reading the first few chapters to solidify the baseline terminology and concepts to be used in the book.

I think any of the SERIOUS small or mid or high stakes plo regs would greatly benefit from the book provided they are willing to put in the time and effort. Many poker players are lazy though. I think it's the perfect plo book for serious students of the game. It's the type of book you want to read with a pen and paper in the library, not while sitting on the toilet.
